Letter, October 23, 1915, from Connie Mack to Walter Ancker acknowledging that he received Ancker's letter and that Mack feels Ancker could use another year of experience. Ancker is to receive plans for the spring at a later date. The letter was written on letterhead from the American Base Ball Club of Philadelphia.

Connie Mack played for the Washington Statesmen (1886-1889), Buffalo Bisons (1890), and Pittsburgh Pirates (1891-1896). Mack is best known, however, as a manager.
